FOLLOWING EWE by Annie McLean
Acrylic on Panel [size: 25 x 25cm]
This painting was created entirely from imagination but is reminiscent of many glens around the Angus and Perthshire region of Scotland where sheep can be found wandering up and around the hills. There is a foreboding feel about this scene, one of where the weather is about to change into a long period of wintery snow. When I was painting this scene, I had in mind of a young, almost adult, sheep following her mother over the hill to find a place of shelter before the weather changed.
Painting is signed bottom right. Can be purchased with a frame for additional cost if collected in person. Price includes first class UK postage and packing and can be purchased online.
