Back to Work

As October draws to a close, we are reminded that summer has slipped away and given over to the unpredictable weather of autumn. This whole year has been both unusual and difficult for most of us with the earlier lockdown followed by restrictions to try to beat Covid-19. My working year never really got started in 2020 until 1st October and then it has been nothing like normal. However, it is good to be back creating and making.

The last three weeks have all been about re-thinking the marketing and working on Christmas themed artwork. For the time being there will be no physical events with all promotions and displays being held online. Ainetheon Arts website is being updated so take a moment to browse through the pages - I'd appreciate any feedback from visitors to let me know what works, what doesn't and what they would like to see or offer some suggestions.

The first event of 2019 took place today. It was a 'virtual event' on the Angus and Perthshire Virtual Christmas Fayre Facebook group. Pop along there to see some of the work being promoted. There will be other venues and events coming up and I will try to get at least another one or two up and running before Christmas.

Christmas is not long off now, 10 weeks I am told by a friend who likes to keep reminding us all through the year. The remainder of this year will be concentrating on producing artworks that will be affordable as gifts. My most popular items last year were the Christmas cards and wooden gift tags - all individual original works of art signed and including a small certificate of authenticity. You can own a small piece of original art for as little as £5.00! All purchases for the remainder of the year will have FREE postage with no minimum purchase to qualify.

Stay safe, protect yourself and others, and follow the guidelines wherever you are. ~A~
